Исследуется вопрос о попытках создания в Праге Белорусского учительского института, показывается деятельность белорусской диаспоры в Чехословакии по организации белорусского образовательного учреждения за границей, выявляются причины, обусловившие нереализованность данного проекта.

This article is devoted to the review of attempts to built in Prague Belarusian teachers’ institute, describes the activities of the Belarusian Diaspora in Czechoslovakia on the organization of the Belarusian educational institution abroad, identifies the reasons for the lack of implementation of this project.
